About Love | Character Sketch of Alyohin and Aleseyevana

UNIT ONE : LOVE AND REMINISCENCE
ABOUT LOVE
ENGLISH | THE HERITAGE OF WORDS
Class : 12
Anton Chekhov

In "About Love" , three kinds of love experiences are suggested by Alyohin. The first one is the love affair between Nikanor and Pelageya. Their love is sensual, often violent. Though there is no understanding between them, sexual passion binds them. Their love is not bound by marital relation. The second love affair is between Alyohin and a girl when he was studying in the university. Though Alyohin loved her, she thought love as a way to earn money. This love affair can be seen as the ugliest where sex is exchanged with money. The third love affair between Alyohin and Anna Alexeyevna can be termed as unexpressed love or spiritual love. Their heart meet, but being trapped by middle class morality, their love remains unexpressed. They sacrifice their love for more good. Alyohin sacrifices his love because he thinks that it would bring disaster in the life of her children, mother and husband. Similarly, Alexeyevna does not express her love thinking that she wasn't young enough to live with him.

What things to do after SLC(School leaving Certificate) Examination

For students giving the exam, SLC has meant a lot of stress. For months, you’ve had to discipline yourself, focus on hours of daily study routines while forgoing some of the activities you most enjoy. The great thing about SLC, though, is that once it’s over, there’s at least two months where you’re on break. This time might go sooner than you think, so it’s best to plan some exciting activities for your post-SLC break to finally get round to doing those things you’ve always wanted to do.

Bridge course
Yes, this may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but joining a bridge course has become a popular choice for most awaiting their results. There’s that new headache of trying to get into a good school after your SLC so it might be a smart choice to take. These supplementary courses will definitely help you prepare for those

Nine Easy Steps to Get Good Marks in Exam | Tips and Tricks

This article will help you in studying, analyzing and solving exam questions.

Steps to Get Good Marks
  1. Do not eat just anything before an exam. : You should not eat any heavy meal for 3 hours before going to an exam. This is because digestion of food requires energy. When you eat food blood supply and flow of oxygen increases to stomach area. The total blood in the body is constant, so the blood that's supplied to the brain decreases. This is why you feel lazy or sleepy after eating food. This also means that your IQ or brain power decreases for a few hours (2 or 3 hours) after eating.
  2. Do not stay awake for a long time, the night before the exam.

Introduction
Much of mathematics is about finding a pattern recognisable link between quantities that change. In our daily life, we come across many patterns that characterise relations such as brother and sister, father and son, teacher and student. In mathematics also, we come across many relations such as number m is less than number n, line l is parallel to line m, set A is a subset of set B. In all these, we notice that a relation involves

INTRODUCTION
We shall study the processes where work is converted into heat and vice versa. In winter, when we rub our palms together, we feel warmer; here work done in rubbing produces the ‘heat’. Conversely, in a steam engine, the ‘heat’ of the steam is used to do useful work in moving the pistons, which in turn rotate the wheels of the train. In physics, we need to define the notions of heat, temperature, work, etc. more carefully.

INTRODUCTION
We all have common-sense notions of heat and temperature. Temperature is a measure of ‘hotness’ of a body. A kettle with boiling water is hotter than a box containing ice. In physics, we need to define the notion of heat, temperature, etc., more carefully. In this chapter, you will learn what heat is and how it is measured, and study the various proceses by which heat flows from one body to another. Along the way, you will find out why blacksmiths heat the iron ring before fitting on the rim of a wooden wheel of a bullock cart and why the wind at the beach often reverses direction after the sun goes down. You will also learn what happens when water boils or freezes, and its temperature does not change during these processes even though a great deal of heat is flowing into or out of it.

INTRODUCTION
We shall study some common physical properties of liquids and gases. Liquids and gases can flow and are therefore, called fluids. It is this property that distinguishes liquids and gases from solids in a basic way. Fluids are everywhere around us. Earth has an envelop of air and two-thirds of its surface is covered with water. Water is not only necessary for our existence; every mammalian body constitute mostly of water. All the processes occurring in living beings including plants are mediated by fluids. Thus understanding the
