Eligibility Criteria

MDS Program
Nepalese Candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria are eligible to apply for PG entrance examination for admission to MDS.

1. less than 45 years of age on the last date of submission of application; 
2. Passed I. Sc. or Class XII of 10+2 system or A level or equivalent examination. 
3. BDS or equivalent medical degree recognized by BPKIHS, and who have completed one year of internship; 
4. registered with the Nepal Medical Council (NMC) and 
5. with one year of work experience in institutions recognized by BPKIHS after temporary/ permanent registration with the NMC (proof is required) on the last day of application.

MD/MS Program

Nepalese Candidate

Candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria are eligible to apply for PG Entrance Examination for admission to MD/MS in Basic Medical Sciences.

1. Less than 45 years of age on the last date of submission of application;
2. Passed I. Sc. or Class XII of 10+2 system or A level or equivalent examination.
3. MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by BPKIHS, and who have completed one year of internship; and
4. Registered with Nepal Medical Council (NMC)

Candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria can apply for PG Entrance Examination for admission to MD/MS in Clinical Sciences.

1. less than 45 years of age on the last date of submission of application;
2. Passed I. Sc. or Class XII of 10+2 system or A level or equivalent examination.
3. MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by BPKIHS, and who have completed one year of internship;
4. registered with the Nepal Medical Council (NMC) and
5. with one year of work experience in institutions recognized by BPKIHS after temporary/ permanent registration with the NMC (proof is required) on the last day of application.

International Candidate

Candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria are eligible to apply for PG Entrance Examination for admission to MD/MS in Basic Medical Sciences and Clinical Sciences;

1. Candidates of less than 45 years of age on the last date of submission of application with MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by BPKIHS and who have completed one year of internship and are registered with Medical Council in their own countries.
